Cheater claims for admission in MBBS, Engineering in abroad Univ., nabbed

New Delhi: Admission Consultant arrested for duping several aspirants for assuring them falsely for Admission to MBBS & Engineering Courses.

According to police sources,accused involved in cheating several innocent people on the pretext of providing Admissions in MBBS, Engineering and other higher courses in various Universities in India and abroad especially Europe, New Zealand and Singapore.

He collected around three crores of rupees by charging Rs. 15-45 lakhs per Admission in

MBBS/MD/MS/MDS/Engineering Courses and duped more than 25 persons.

The Anti Extortion Cell of Crime Branch has arrested a notorious cheat namely Piyush @ Peeyush Bharat Saini s/o Late Shri Ramesh Chand r/o Flat No. 377, Pocket 5 & 7, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi, aged 43 years, for cheating Rs. 15 lakhs from a Retd. Professor of Punjab University by alluring him for getting his grandson admitted to MBBS Course in Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune.

On 09.11.2012, Shri Prem Singh Sekhon r/o Village Barwali Kalan, District Fatehgarh, Punjab, a Retd. Professor of Punjab University had filed a complaint with Crime Branch of Delhi Police stating that one Piyush Bharat Saini who is running an Admission Guidance Agency for MBBS, MD etc. course from 26/18, 3rd Floor, Old Rajender Nagar, New Delhi has duped him of Rs. 15 lakhs for getting his grandson admitted in MBBS Course in Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Pune. On this complaint, enquires were conducted were it was revealed that the accused Piyush Bharat Saini is involved in cheating innocent people

on the pretext of ensuring admissions for their wards in MBBS, Engineering and other higher courses in various Universities in India i.e. located in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Pune etc. and abroad in Europe, New Zealand and Singapore. After enquiry, a case of cheating vide FIR No. 271/11 dated 21.11.2012 u/s 420 IPC PS Crime Branch, Delhi was registered and a team led by Insp. The team of Crime Branch arrested accused Piyush Bharat Saini on 21.11.2012, on a tip of information. His interrogation revealed that accused Piyush Bharat Saini basically hails from Teliwala, Roorkee, Haridwar. He came to Delhi in the year 1993 for a Diploma course from South Delhi but he could not pass his exams. After that he completed Graduation from Delhi University and started cheating innocent students from Delhi after assuring them about their admissions in Diploma/Engineering courses in Delhi. In the year 1994, he opened Admission Guidance centre in the name and style of “Disha

Educational” at 5/11, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi and started cheating innocent people for securing admissions in MBBS/Engineering in different reputed colleges in India and abroad especially in the Universities located in Europe, New Zealand and Singapore. Subsequently, for the first time he was booked in a cheating case of PS Sarojini Nagar where in he had cheated Rs. 1.5 lakhs for admission in Engineering course. Therefore, in year 2002, he shifted his Admission Guidance Centre at A-1/263, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi. He remained in Jail for about 2 years from August, 2004 to June 2006. After coming out of jail, he started his ‘Admission Guidance Centre’ in the name & style of “Education

Wise” and shi ted his office to 26/18, 3rd Floor, Old Rajender Nagar, New Delhi, in the month

of August, 2006. The accused specifically targeted students of remote areas especially of

Punjab thereby giving his advertisements regularly in ‘The Tribune’ and other leading news

papers being published in Punjab and other states for admissions in MBBS/MD/MS/MDS

strictly under NRI/Management Quota indicating that only few seats were available.

The accused Piyush Bharat Saini used to charge Rs. 15 to 45 lakhs per

student from innocent people mostly from Punjab on the pretext of false promise for securing

admissions in reputed colleges all over India and in following Universities located abroad:

1. Wellington High School, New Zealand.

2. University of Fraser Valley, Canada.

3. European University, Switzer Land.

4. Marbella University, Spain.

5. New Zealand School of Travel and Tourism, New Zealand.

6. IBAT College, Ireland.

7. Swiss College of Management, Switzer Land.

8. London School of Business, UK.

9. Nanyang College, Singapore.

10. University Canada West.

11. Cork International College, Ireland.

12. ICL Business School, New Zealand.

13. IDENZ College, New Zealand.

14. University of Wales, UK.

His Interrogation has further revealed that during the period of past 2 years, he has cheated the innocent parents of around 22 students by falsely alluring them for the admission of their wards to the MBBS in different colleges in India and abroad thereby charging Rs. 15 to 45 lakhs from each student and duped them of Rs. 3 Crores approximately in total. It was also revealed that the accused Piyush is a habitual criminal and is previously involved in below noted cases of cheating and Criminal Breach of Trust of different police stations of Delhi, UP and Punjab etc.
