Election Commission raised eyebrow on the center for direct cash scheme

New Delhi: If Election Commission has raised its eye brow on the government’s much awaited direct cash transfer scheme for its timing then certainly there is some reason behind this. However government has ruled out any hidden agenda behind this and said that it is just a routine announcement and it has mentioned the same in its manifesto. BJP has already lodged its complaints on the issues and alleged that the timing chosen for the announcement was the assemble election announcement in Gujarat and Himachal. Now it is Election Commission which have to watch the whole episode however he move initiated by BJP and the response by EC can create trouble for government with the direct cash transfer scheme. The scheme is going to play a significant role for UPA government as it has been envisaged for the mass portion of population of country.
