New Delhi: Now new route to ply for DTC buses



New Delhi: Delhi Transport Minister Sh. Ramakant Goswami today stated that population of Delhi is increasing day by day.  Further, new colonies are also coming up in far of localities.  Hence, it becomes appropriate to start new routes.  The DTC would start new routes as per the need of the localities based on a study being conducted on regular basis by DTC.  The DTC will also focus on passengers amenities.  The drivers and conductors have been asked to follow instructions on smooth operation of the buses.  Sh. Goswami added that the government is committed to make the DTC the best public transport in the country, which is essential for an international city like Delhi. 

. Goswami flagged of a bus under new route 755 from Naraina Village, Ring Road.  The new route will connect Naraina Village with Mukherjee Nagar.  The buses under the route would pass through Naraina Vihar, ISBT Kashmere Gate, Delhi University.  This would facilitate large number of people to commute on the new route.
