New Dellhi: With the arrest of two accused namely Shyamlal aged 25 years and Smt. Babita aged 35 yrs (J & K), officials of North District of Delhi Police has solved a case of sensational case of Kidnapping of a Baby Girl aged 1 yr R/o Gali No.16, Jagatpur Extn. Delhi.
According to Sindhu Pillai, DCP, North District,o n 08.01.2013, the complainant R/o Gali No.16, Jagatpur Extn. Delhi reported that one Mahender was residing in his immediate neighborhood on rent along with his wife Babita and Mahender went to his village since about one week. Babita told that she is going to take medicines and also have to purchase some cloths for Baby girl from market and taken away his daughter. But, Babita did not returned back. On the basis of the said statement, a case vide was registered at PS Timarpur and the investigation was taken up.
A dedicated team comprising conducted which swung into action immediately and after a very commendable investigation and efforts by all, the team traced a neighbor, on whose mobile phone the husband of the lady Babita called and talked to Babita. The location of the said Mobile Number was found to be in Jammu. Immediately, a team rushed to Jammu and after a very appreciable investigation and efforts, the couple was arrested from outside Jammu Railway Station and the baby was recovred safely.
During sustained interrogation, the culprits disclosed that they are residing in Living relationship since few years. Smt. Babita has 5 children from her previous wedlock, but left her family in Udhampur (J & K) due to relations developed with Mahender. They came in Delhi before around 3 years, started residing as Husband-wife, but they have not been blessed with any issue.
