Setting the atmosphere of drama on the stage was
the luxurious bridal suite with props by the Great Eastern Furniture Company;
where models depicted a tableau of a bride, as she sits in front of her
dressing table, dressing for a wedding party. Varun Dhawan was a
surprise – as he opened the show to thunderous applause.
It was indeed a glossy
affair as the designer showcased a breath-taking collection inspired by Lakme’s
latest beauty statement. Staged in exuberant couture-ensemble, this new
collection was a glamorous twist to bridal couture in India, depicting Manish’s
signature style.
