CDS 2 2026 Revised Merit List Out: Download Result PDF Link Here

The Union Public Service Commission has released the revised order of merit Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2025 on April, 7, 2026 on its official website. The final result of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2025 for Indian Military Academy’, ‘Indian Naval Academy’ and ‘Air Force Academy’ was declared by the Commission vide Press Note dated 30th March, 2026 recommending 302 (190 + 85 + 27) candidates, in order of merit.

The Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2025 has inter-alia a new provision under Rule 8 with regard to rounding off the marks upto two decimal digits, by applying the standard rounding off principle, to bring greater accuracy and fairness to the ranking of the candidates. In line with this provision, the revised order of merit is hereby enclosed with minor modifications in inter-se ranking of the recommended candidates, without any change in the overall composition of the result.

How to Download CDS Result 2026?

The UPSC CDS Final Result cum revised merit has been announced online. Candidates can download the UPSC CDS Result by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC @ upsc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the "Examination" tab.

Step 3: Select "Active Examinations" from the drop-down menu.

Step 4: Choose "Combined Defence Services Examination, 2026".

Step 5: Click on "Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2025 - Revision in the order of Merit (Uploaded on 07.04.2026) ". 

Step 6: A PDF file displaying the roll numbers of selected candidates will appear on the screen. Use "Ctrl + F" to search for your roll number. If it is on the list that means you have cleared the CDS (II) 2026 written exam and are eligible for the next round.

Step 7: Save and download the CDS Result 2026 result for future reference.
