Congress used tactics power and conspired to weaken the Corporations: BJP

New Delhi: Chairman, Standing Committee, North Delhi Municipal Corporation, Mr. Yogender Chandolia demanded that revised circle rates of the properties falling in categories D to H by the Delhi Government should not be implemented as this would impose additional financial burden on colonies falling in these categories besides the colonies recently regularized on papers. It would be very difficult for the common people to build a house, if the circle rates are revised.  He further added that it will only in the benefit of the land mafia who usually purchase properties in unauthorized colonies and established their monopolies to sale it with heavy margins.
Mr. Chandolia alleged that the NCT Govt. of Delhi itself is responsible for deteriorating financial condition and poor image. In the last five years, Congress used tactics power and conspired to weaken the Corporations thus trifurcated. It is even involved in destabilizing the Corporation hampering its day today functioning by one or other reason yet the Corporations are performing well despite of odd conditions.
  If, Delhi Government had even once thought of commonman, small traders and traders, it had not recommended increase in circle rates results additional burden on Delhiites. It is really done in order to hide the financial mismanagement of the Delhi Govt. and it is seriously exploitation of the traders and common people.
 As per Chairman, Standing Committee, Mr. Chandolia, the recommendations in increase in circle rate was never called for.  It has been done to earn more revenue in the present financial year, which could not be done without increase in circle rates. Delhi Govt. is planning to earn huge revenue through stamp duty  during registration of properties which it could not do by recovering sales tax and other sources.  He has further said that not only this, but Delhi Govt. is planning to impose VAT on 2.6 lacs
