Patna: Stampede and death are not a uncommon for an incident but if something unique then certainly it is the connection of death from stampede on the occasion of religious gatherings.
The recent stampede on the eve of Chhath puja in Patna on Ganga Ghat is enough to say the mismanagement and disorders on the Ghats prepared by various people and agencies.
It is difficult to understand the claims by various agencies on the occassion of Chhath Puja for good arrangements for the devotees and the incidents like Patna in which sources claims that more than twenty people have lost their lives.
It is not the first such a incidents in which people have lost their lives in the clutches of stampede especially on a religious gathering.
Machinery must take lesson from such a incidents in which innocent people are forced to face such a nightmare on the name of religious gathering and agencies mismanagement.
