CM inaugurates SCADA at Nirman Bhawan in Delhi

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today inaugurated SCADA Control Centre at Nirman Bhawan and four Porta Cabins at Gole Market area. The chairperson of NDMC Ms Archna Arora, Secretary, NDMC, Senior Officials of NDMC, representatives of Resident Welfare Associations and Market Trader Welfare Associations & residents of the Colonies were also present on the occasion.

SCADA System at Nirman Bhawan :- A new SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Control Room has been established at 33 KV Electric Sub-Station, Nirman Bhawan. A Government undertaking PGCIL is the turnkey consultant for this project and it has been executed through M/s TCIL & M/s ABB. This work has been completed in 28 months at a total cost of ` 10 crore.
Four Porta Cabins in Gole Market area :- The Chief Minister also inaugurated four Porta Cabins at the Gole Market area viz. Kali Bari Appartment - Udyan Marg,Havelock Square - Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Kali Bari - Sector II - DIZ area and Raja Bazar - Gole Market. These pre-fabricated porta cabins have been constructed by NDMC. After inaugurating the Porta Cabin, Smt. Dikshit urged the local residents to avail the facilities of these Porta Cabins for their community activities and cooperate with local body for its maintenance.
These porta cabins in the Gole Market area can be used by Senior Citizens as well as other residents of the area for recreation, library and for other community gathering. These Porta Cabins have been erected at the estimated total cost of ` 16.80 lakhs, which have been provided from ‘My Delhi I Care Fund Scheme’. These porta cabin are of 5.70 x 5 meter size with a toilet block, in which one colour television, 10 plastic chairs, one table and two ceiling fan have been provided.
