The hustle and bustle of life and the lack of opportunities have left us in such a state that we have lost control over ourselves, and others are guiding our thoughts and actions. Or rather, we have given up the steering wheel to others.

The amazing thing is that the body is ours, the mind is ours, the life is ours, the goal is ours, but the one guiding it is the person in front of us. That person is the one who accompanies us for a few minutes on the e-rickshaw, bus, metro, or train as we leave home.

The words and actions of others are merely a reflection of their personality. As soon as you take something to heart, you give that person the power to dominate you.

Always remember this quote by Eleanor Roosevelt: "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

Think of it this way: we're all going to die one day, so should we start counting the remaining days of our lives, worrying that we'll die one day? No, right?

But the irony is that, despite knowing the reality, we're wasting our present in empty imaginations or unnecessary delusions.

News comes that a meteorite larger than an airplane could come from nowhere and wipe out all life on Earth. Technically, this is possible, but is it beneficial to keep thinking about it?

It eliminates useless mental habits like worry and overthinking. Just because something is true isn't beneficial. Many people justify useless mental habits like worry and overthinking by saying that they are (or could be) true.
