New Delhi: Leader of the House in the NDMC, Mahinder
Nagpal today strongly condemned the statement of the Urban Development Minister
of Delhi Govt., Mr. Arvinder Singh Lovely, in which he said that Corporation
are not taking interest in preparing the layout plans of the colonies under
process of regularization. He added that the statement is purely
politically motivated without any fact.
He said that it was decided in the presence of Honble LG
that Delhi Govt. will provide sufficient funds for making layout plans for the
colonies. But the response is very cold. Till date no
cooperation has been assured but Corporation blamed for not so keen in
preparing layout plans of the colonies under process of regularization.
Leader of the House informed that NDMC sent a letter
to the Urban Development Minister on 01/11/2012 to provide the funds for the
purpose. In response to the letter, the Delhi Govt. replied on
09/11/2012 saying that funds will be provided to the RWAs. This shows that Delhi
Govt. is playing politics with the Corporations as well the residents of these
colonies.
Dr. Nagpal said that Corporation is completely prepared to
make the layout plans for 895 colonies under process of regularization but for
that Delhi Govt. needs to provide sufficient funds.
