SDMC: Mayor assures to provide best civic facilities

New Delhi: Mayor of South Delhi, Mrs. Savita Gupta today inaugurates reconstruction work of Community Hall at Amar Colony, Lajpat Nagar in Central Zone. President of BJP Delhi Pradesh, Mr. Vijender Gupta graced the occasion as chief guest while other functionaries of the SDMC besides gathering of local citizens were present. The function was presided over by the Mayor and local Area Councillor, Mrs. Savita Gupta.

On the occasion Mr. Vijender Gupta said that all the Corporations are trying their best to provide better civic facilities to the citizens of Delhi. South Delhi Municipal Corporation is on the right track of development. Through the reconstruction of Community Hall citizens will be benefitted at large.

Mayor, Mrs. Gupta said that the cost of reconstruction work of this community hall is around 2.20 crore and will be completed within a year. Ground and first floor of this Community Hall will be available for Marriage or other social functions. On second floor library will be there for senior citizens and the facility of indoor games for youth. Other than this a big hall, four rooms, kitchen, toilets, two staircases at each floor will also be constructed for the better arrangement of social functions.
