Shillong: To Host NextGen Administrative & e-Gov Reforms
- The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), in collaboration with the Government of Meghalaya, will host two-day National Conference on 13–14 July 2026 in Shillong, Meghalaya.
- Theme of the Conference: "NextGen Administrative & e-Gov Reforms"
- Aim of the Conference: To provide a national platform for sharing innovative governance practices, fostering collaboration among States and Union Territories, and promoting the adoption of next-generation administrative reforms
Linda Noskova: Won Wimbledon Women’s Singles Final
- The 21-year-old Linda Noskova won her maiden Grand Slam title after defeating fellow Czech Karolina Muchova 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 in the Wimbledon Women’s Singles Final .
- Noskova became the third Czech woman in four years to win the grass-court major.
- Marketa Vondrousova became winner in 2023 and Barbora Krejcikova in 2024.
Nagpur: 3rd BRICS Transport Ministers’ Meeting
- The 3rd BRICS Transport Ministers’ Meeting held in Nagpur, Maharashtra, under India’s BRICS Chairship 2026, marking a significant milestone in deepening transport cooperation among BRICS member countries.
- The Meeting brought together Transport Ministers, senior officials and technical experts from BRICS Member Countries.

New Delhi: To Host Water Resource Department Secretaries’ Conference
- The Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD & GR), Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, will convene the All-India Conference of Senior Most Secretaries of Water Resources Departments of States and Union Territories on 13th July 2026 at Chanakya Hall, Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi.
