New Delhi: Delhi Government had constructed two Super-specialty
Hospitals namely Rajiv Gandhi 650 bedded Super-specialty Hospital at Tahirpur
in East Delhi and Janakpuri 300 bedded Super-specialty Hospital in West
Delhi. Delhi Health Minister Dr. A.K. Walia today stated that in order to
make these Super-specialty Hospitals functional at the earliest, Dr. M.M.
Mehndiratta, renowned Neurologist, has been selected as Director for Janakpuri
Super-specialty Hospital & Dr. Sunil Kumar Khatri, as Director for Rajiv
Gandhi Super-specialty Hospital.
Dr. Walia added
that Delhi Government would provide all the state-of-art equipment &
technology for providing best of the class & highly sophisticated
Super-specialty Medical Care to the people.
These
Super-specialty Hospitals are designed to provide highly specialized state of
the art advanced Super-specialty Medical Care. These high quality Super
–specialty Medical Services will be provided in the area of Cardiology,
Neurology, Nephrology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Cardiac Surgery, Urosurgery,
GI Surgery, and other specialties alongwith diagnostic & other
facilities. These Hospitals would be managed by experienced & senior
health professionals.
These Hospitals
would be managed in a professional manner and shall be granted flexibility to
carry out day to day services. The public will be highly benefitted from
these hospitals, which would provide affordable & high quality medical care
in a compassionate and caring environment.
