South Delhi Municipal Corporation Budget in favour of Delhities

New Delhi: Chairman, Standing Committee, Mr. Rajesh Gehlot today declared that the budget of SDMC is in the favour of Delhiites and we welcome the budget. He said that this is completely zero-loss budget. In the budget there are no new tax proposals and expenditure is equal to revenue. He said that budget is made according to the needs of the citizens and for providing better facilities and services to them. Mr. Gehlot said that to fulfil the expenditure, there is no borrowing in the budget. In the financial year 2012-13 all the Departments have no liabilities. In the next five years, SDMC will become debt free Corporation. He further added that the important aspect of the budget is that the revenue generated in non-plan head is from our sources and this income is realistic. The budget has incorporated such proposals and provisions that will benefit the citizen as well as the employee of the SDMC. Standing Committee of the SDMC appreciate the budget.
