Students must remember three “D”s in their lives: Prof. Walia
New Delhi: The Minister of Education and Social Welfare, Govt. of Delhi, Prof. Kiran Walia today distributed prizes to the students for their excellence in the field of academics, art and culture and sports in a function organized on the occasion Annual Day at Gargi Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Green Park. The students were awarded with citations, medals and cash prize for their outstanding performance in various activities.
Prof. Walia given away the prizes said that government is committed to upgrade the level of education in all the schools in the capital city and for that, a number of schemes and policies are being planned. Providing the best education to the students, is the priority of the Government. Teams of officers are regularly visiting the schools.
These are the places from where the students after getting education and moral values become the ideal and responsible citizens and take the country to the path of progress with full responsibility. She said that students must remember three “D”s in their lives which stand for Discipline, Dedication and Devotion. This is the Mantra for them to follow for making their future success.
