New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has ruled out all the charges of corruption and said that Delhi is one of the best administered state of India. She dismissed the charges by Lokyaukta’s of misusing the public fund during election.
Addressing to women journalist in capital, she said that there is no corruption in Delhi. According to media sources, she asked that where corruption in Delhi is. She said that the administrative process in Delhi if transparent and it is one of the best system in India.
She further said that some of the people tried to defame the government and indict indict the government in the Commonwealth Games in the Shunglu committee report. Nothing did came out of it and then where is corruption, she asked.
Commenting on the Lokayukta’s charges, she raised the question on the limitations of him boundaries. She said that whatever the Lokayukta has done is beyond its legal boundaries and norms. It something happened in 2008, why it has been remembering now, she added.
It is noted that several times charges of corruption has been raised on Delhi government especially it was charged with misappropriation of funds during the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
She insisted to make administration more transparent, we are moving towards a system which is very open, she added.
She further said that if there is delay in providing service, action is taken against the government official. She said that Delhi is one of the best administered states in India."
