New Delhi: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has sid that there is need to end traffic congestion in Mehrauli especially for an entry in to Mehrauli from sub Register office side.
Earlier Dr. Yoganand Shastri, Spekker Delhi State Assembly demanded constructing of an alternate rourt for entry in to Mehrauli to end Traffic woes.
Responding to the demand Dikshit stated that the government would soon find out a solution to the problem by constructing an alternate route on forest land or constructing an elevated road to enhance the capacity for the fast increased number of vehicle for entry in to Mehrauli the historical and ancient town.
She assured the local residents that afeasible actions after taking a suitable decision would lbe taken very soon/
She added that to ensure compensatory forestation the residens s well as all agencies concerned would have to cooperated in this regards
