Patna: It was not a surprise for the NDA fate in Bihar when JDU and BJP coalition come to such a end on Sunday. Chief Minister Nitish Kuma and Sharad Yadav announced formally to end the 17 year coalition.

However BJP has termed it as a betrayal by the JDU side and said that it will hold Bihar Band against the move.

However despite the attacking attitude by the JDU leaders, BJP has made it clear that it has not been going to compromise on the issue of Narendra Modi.

In a press conference, Nitish Kumar and Sharad Yadav announced the situations in which the step has been taken. Nitish said that it was difficult to work together in prevailing situation and hence it was needed for both the party. Nitish said,"We are not responsible for ending the alliance. We are pushed to this situation so as not to compromise with our basic principles.

However it will be interesting to see the profit and loss for both the parties performance in Bihar specially for JDU which has lost the much awaited Maharajganj by-election from RJD.
