It’s all about sense of security for women in Capital

New Delhi: Now Delhi government is all set to disseminate the sense of women security through another unique method which will certainly play effective role for its purpose. In a latest move, Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit today flagged of three specially built open vehicles with a suitable stage to disseminate the sense of women security in the capital city. Through this vehicle the eminent artists would convey the message of women security, women empowerment and women welfare. She flagged off the vehicles from her residence in the presence of Delhi WCD Minister Prof. Kiran Walia. Such six more vehicles would be deployed tomorrow on wards.

Dikshit stated that a detailed schedule of these vehicles have been finalised. The vehicles would move in all 11 revenue districts and would present programmes at 165 places under 33 sub divisions. The vehicles would also concentrate on the safe guard of the interests of women. The vehicles would be used to present forceful programmes such as Street Plays and Songs. The three vehicles today presented programmes under East District. Smt. Dikshit added that for the time being the vehicles would publicize the importance and relevance of women welfare programmes till 8th March however the term would be extended.

The deployment of vehicles is aimed to bring a positive change in the society. Dikshit stated that women as daughter, mother, sister and wife has been serving the society and humanity to instill good habits amongst all. Whereas she has to face excesses. The un-called for behaviour with women must be stopped. The vehicles would present programmes on female foeticide, women education, self respect of women and women empowerment.
